Established on October 31 in 1994 to celebrate the origins and evolution of jazz, New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park is a U.S. National Historical Park located near French Quarter. It covers a land area of 4 acres within Louis Armstrong Park leased by the National Park Service.

This historical park chiefly shares the cultural history of the people and places that were entirely involved in the development and progression of jazz in New Orleans. Besides, numerous activities and programs take place in park including:
